On the contentious site of an old Victorian playground on Wells Road in the centre of Bath, Tree Parts supported our long standing client, Bridgewood Plc, to secure a successful outcome in the approval of building an eco-home in the vicinity of numerous protected trees.

Having surveyed the trees to the BS 5837 Standard and produced all the relevant CAD drawings to support the planning application, we carried out one to one liaison with the local Senior Tree Officer to agree the principle of the scheme, both on site and at Bath & North East Somerset Council’s – and the architect’s – offices. Working closely with the appointed architect, we then evaluated the proposed designs in relation to the constraints the trees may have posed upon the development.
Through maintaining consistent positive communication with our client, we were always able to keep them regularly updated of any unforeseen developments. And what’s more, we always then set about to proactively find the most cost effective solution to take the project forward.
On the successful receipt of planning permission for this site, Tree Parts felled, saw milled and installed all the necessary tree protection boarding from Larch trees we locally sourced from the Longleat Estate.
